Maryam greets Nawaz Sharif on his birthday
PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz on Friday congratulated her father Nawaz Sharif on his birthday, saying although they could not meet to celebrate the occasion, she was standing by his ideology and struggle firmly.
Thanking Almighty Allah that she did not move away from the path on which he is moving for the nation, Maryam hoped that they would be able to meet next year to celebrate his birthday together with his full health recovery.
آج آپ کی سالگرہ ہے،آپ سے مل نہیں سکتی مگر حوصلہ اس بات کا ہے کہ میں آپ کے نظریات اور جدوجہد پر ثابت قدمی سے کھڑی ہوں۔ الحمدُللّہ میرے قدم اس راستے سے ڈگمگائے نہیں جس راستے پر آپ اپنی قوم کے لئے چل رہے ہیں۔ اللّہ کرے ہماری اگلی ملاقات آپ کی مکمل صحت کے ساتھ ہو۔ سالگرہ مبارک ابو ❤️

In another tweet, the PML-N leader promised to make Pakistan a welfare and democratic state by following the principles of unity, faith and discipline set by Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, where, she said, the Constitution would be supreme with people enjoying the right to govern.
اتحاد، ایمان، تنظیم۔ یہ وہ رہنما اصول ہیں جو بانی پاکستان نے اس ملک کے عوام کو سمجھائے۔ آج قائد اعظم کی یوم پیدائش پر وعدہ کرتے ہیں کہ ان اصولوں پر چلتے ہوئے ہم پاکستان کو ایک فلاحی اور جمہوری ریاست بنائیں گے جہاں آئین بالادست ہوگا اور عوام کو حقِ حکمرانی حاصل ہوگا انشاءاللّہ۔

She also wished Merry Christmas to the Christian brethren, as December 25 not only marks Christmas but also coincides with the birth anniversaries of Quaid-i-Azam and Nawaz Sharif.
