Test opener Abid Ali was discharged from the hospital after angioplasty as the health condition of the record-breaking cricketer is improving.

A few days ago, Abid Ali suffered chest pain while batting in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match at UBL Ground Karachi. Two stents have been inserted into his coronary arteries.

According to the father of the 34-years-old cricketer, he is still in good health and is feeling much better than before. He has also been discharged from the hospital.

Abid’s father told the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made arrangements for our accommodation," he said. All are grateful to the friends who prayed for Abid's recovery. Please remember in more prayers, added the father.

It is relevant to mention that Abid’s rehab program is for two weeks, as informed by his father.
