Former captain of the national cricket team Shahid Afridi has revealed that Shaheen Shah, the star-studded fast bowler of the national cricket team, had spoken to him on the phone before the Pak-India clash in the World Cup T20.

Speaking on a private TV channel, Shahid Afridi said Shaheen told him that he was feeling a little under pressure.

Shahid Afridi said they talked for about 11 to 12 minutes.

The former captain said that during this video call I kept encouraging Shaheen and said that God has given you the opportunity to use it properly.

Recalling his playing days, Shahid Afridi said that Pakistani players could not sleep before the game against India.

He added that the pressure has always been intense due to the unpleasant relations between the two countries.
