'Sorry I cannot hear you': Brooklyn Beckham fuels family feud on TikTok

English former footballer David Beckham's son Brooklyn Beckham has appeared to fire back at his estranged family with a pointed yet understated TikTok post, just days after it emerged that he had blocked them all on Instagram amid a deepening family rift.

The 26-year-old aspiring chef sparked speculation after sharing a video that many fans interpreted as a deliberate message. The clip was uploaded to his Cloud23 hot sauce TikTok account shortly after his younger brother Cruz publicly addressed the Instagram fallout.

In the video, Brooklyn is seen walking through a city while Lady Gaga’s Telephone plays in the background. He deliberately highlighted the lyric "sorry I cannot hear you I'm kinda busy," displaying the words prominently in bold text.

He then shifted focus to promoting his hot sauce brand, leaving followers questioning whether the timing, and choice of lyric, was a veiled dig at his family.

The post came amid claims from sources close to David and Victoria Beckham that the couple had not unfollowed their eldest son, but instead believe they were blocked by him, a move they see as signalling a total breakdown in their relationship.

Friends of the Beckhams say it is unimaginable that David and Victoria would ever choose to unfollow Brooklyn, insisting the action did not come from them.

"David and Victoria will never stop loving Brooklyn," said a source close to the couple.

"They will always be here for him and they always want him to know that, they are devastated at this fall out.

"So far from this being them, it appears that Brooklyn has blocked them to show them that's it, this is final.

"It is very clear that this is a sign of his complete estrangement from his family.

"For David and Victoria it was their last connection to Brooklyn as he has made it very clear he doesn't want to talk to them anymore, they haven't spoken for months and months now.

"By following him it was a message to him that they still love him and still want to follow his life. Now they can't do that, but it's not their doing."

The social media rupture comes just days before Christmas, with Brooklyn notably absent from the Beckham family’s festive plans. He will not be spending the holiday with his parents, siblings Romeo, Cruz and Harper, or the wider family at their £10 million Cotswolds home.

Instead, Brooklyn is expected to remain in the US while the rest of the family celebrate together.

Cruz Beckham, 20, publicly rejected claims that their parents had unfollowed Brooklyn, addressing the issue directly in an Instagram Story on Saturday.

"My mum and dad would never unfollow their son... Let's get the facts right. They woke up blocked... as did I," Cruz wrote.

The Daily Mail contacted Brooklyn’s representatives for comment on Cruz’s claims.

The episode marks the clearest public indication yet that communication between Brooklyn and his family has completely broken down amid their escalating feud.

Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz, 30, also does not follow David or Victoria on Instagram, and they no longer follow her either.

As previously revealed by the Daily Mail, Brooklyn has declined efforts to reconcile ahead of the festive season and will spend Christmas with Nicola and her family in Miami, Florida.

"Brooklyn and Nicola decided they would be spending this Christmas with her family. Her parents are really excited to have them," a source said.

The couple arrived in Miami earlier this week, with Brooklyn sharing a photo alongside Nicola’s brother Bradley in the garden of her family’s Palm Beach mansion.

His decision to spend Christmas with his in-laws is said to have deeply upset his parents and siblings, including Romeo, 23, Cruz and Harper, 14.

In recent weeks, David Beckham has appeared to make public attempts at reconciliation. He shared a throwback photograph of himself with Brooklyn and his younger sons Romeo and Cruz, while Cruz also posted a nostalgic beach photo of himself with Brooklyn and Romeo from Brazil.

In the image, Brooklyn had his arm wrapped around Cruz as the brothers posed together.

Relations reportedly deteriorated completely after Brooklyn and Nicola failed to attend any of David’s 50th birthday celebrations in May. Brooklyn also did not publicly acknowledge his father’s knighthood in November.

The Daily Mail also revealed that Brooklyn’s grandmothers are heartbroken at the prospect of not seeing him this Christmas.

Victoria recently shared a festive photograph taken at her parents Jackie and Tony Adams’ home, showing twelve stockings lined up along the fireplace, one for each grandchild. A stocking for Brooklyn was placed prominently among them.

The family feud is said to be weighing heavily on Jackie Adams and David’s mother Sandra.

Some close to the family believe that hanging Brooklyn’s stocking, despite the fallout, reflects Jackie’s quiet hope that Christmas might still bring reconciliation.

Friends of the Beckhams say both grandmothers are "extremely sad" about the situation.

"They're not getting any younger and the cold truth of it all is that nobody knows when they will see Brooklyn next. It's Jackie and Sandra who everyone feels so sorry for," the source added.

David and Victoria are expected to spend part of the festive period at their recently purchased £60 million waterfront home in Miami, the same property where Brooklyn and Nicola joined them last Christmas, when family photos showed what appeared to be a happy and united celebration.

Victoria is believed to be putting on a brave face as she focuses on supporting David and their youngest child, Harper, during what has become one of the most painful periods for the Beckham family.
