Two children die as roof collapses in Shahkot

Two children were killed while four others were injured after the roof of a house collapsed in a village on the outskirts of Shahkot near Nankana Sahib on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Rescue 1122 officials said that as soon as the information was received, emergency vehicles were sent to the site of the incident.

They informed that a total of six members of a family were affected in the incident.

They elaborated that those injured were the head of the family, his wife and their two children who were rushed to tehsil hospital, Shahkot.

Giving further details, the officials said that the deceased were identified as 13-year-old Hadi and 10-year-old Hania, while those who were injured were 50-year-old Muhammad Yasin, 45-year-old Taslim Bibi, 19-year-old Zain and 17-year-old Mishal.
