In a big action, the Faisalabad police on Friday arrested a group of drug peddlers who was supplying drugs to university and college students, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, a group of dope pushers consisting of 14 members was apprehended by the police. 

Addressing a press conference in Faisalabad, CPO Ghulam Mubashir Makeen said that the dope dealers used to enter universities or colleges after masquerading themselves as students. 

The CPO said that police recovered 17 kg charas, 4 kg ice (methamphetamine) and 3 kg heroin from their possession. He said that accused Aakif and Yaseen had made ice smoking dens. 

He informed that police raided areas near Ghulam Muhammadabad police station, Gulberg and Razabad. 

The CPO said that the gang used to contact and supply dope to its buyers with the help of social media. He said that police teams had been formed to nab the drug suppliers on the pointation of accused.
