Lahore Qalandars have won the toss and elected to bat first against Islamabad United ahead of the second eliminator in the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Friday at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.

The losing side will pack their luggage and the winning team will lock horns with Multan Sultans.

Lahore Qalandars, who finished second in the table at the league stage, lost to Multan Sultans by 28 runs in the first Qualifier

On the other hand, Islamabad United, hit by injuries and player unavailability in the middle of the tournament, are now in top form. With the return of Shadab Khan and Alex Hales, yesterday they won the first tier by 5 wickets against Peshawar Zalmi. Now, the return of Paul Stirling is another boost for the United.

Lahore Qalandars have won both league games against Islamabad United.
