Pakistan plans to rescue 2,000 students from Ukraine via Poland

Pakistan has planned a rescue operation for the repatriation of 2,000 Pakistani students from war-torn Ukraine on Friday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Pakistani embassy will gather the Pakistani students stranded in Ukraine in the city—Ternopil first and then move them to Poland by road.
As per the plan, Pakistan International Airline (PIA) is ready to send a plane to Poland on an immediate basis after reaching the Pakistani students there.
The channel report said that for the purpose, Pakistan's Ambassador to Ukraine Major General (Retd) Noel Khokhar made a contact with the PIA Chief Executive Air Marshal Arshad Malik and both agreed on the rescue operation.
PIA Chief Executive Air Marshal Arshad Malik said that PIA's Boeing 777 will repatriate students from Poland.
He said they will take all possible steps to repatriate Pakistani students.
