A woman of Gujranwala died allegedly in firing by Sialkot patrolling police on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The woman’s husband Azhar told the Daska police that he along with his family was on the way in a rickshaw to attend a marriage ceremony.

He alleged that ASI Waqas Maqsood of Sialkot patrolling police opened fire on the rickshaw near Dharam Kot, shooting his wife Tanzeela in the head.

He maintained that Tanzeela was the mother of his three children. “A bullet in the head caused her sudden death. The accused shot my wife dead in unprovoked firing. He should be punished as per the law,” he demanded.

Daska Saddr police arrested the ASI and registered a case against him.
