Pakistan-American doctors have performed free-of-cost spinal cord operations in Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (Indus Hospital), Muzaffargarh for four days.

In the beginning of the second week of February, Pakistani-born American spine surgeons Dr. Muhammad Umar Barni and Dr. Adeel-uz-Zaman Khalil visited Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Hospital Muzaffargarh along with Head of Orthopedic Department of Indus Hospital Karachi Dr. Muhammad Amin Chinoy. Dr. Adeel-uz-Zaman Khalil completed 16 spinal operations.

While the poor patients benefited from this expensive surgery and recovered free of charge, the local doctors of the hospital also got an opportunity to improve their professional skills.

Before the surgery, the evaluation process of the patients was completed in the OPD under the leadership of Dr. Gohar Nawaz Khan and Dr. Hasan Raza Khosa, where the patients underwent free MRI, CT scan and other necessary tests completely free of charge.

Selected patients were got admitted and underwent surgery. The patients who recovered after the surgery said that all medical facilities were provided to them free of charge in Indus Hospital Muzaffargarh and even the most expensive surgery was done completely free.
