Pakistan and South Korea will search for new markets for business and trade, said South Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Suh Sangpyo's while talking to 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

A high-level delegation from South Korea has arrived in Islamabad to explore opportunities for investment in Pakistan. 

Korean Ambassador Suh Sangpyo has started his endeavours to seek new trade avenues. The ambassador said that existing trade volume between both countries is 1.6 billion dollars. 

He said his country wanted to double the trade volume with Pakistan. He further said that Pakistani leather products were quite prominent. 

Sangpyo said Korea was making investing in Pakistan’s cotton industry. He said that his country wanted to enhance investment in Pakistan. The Korean envoy said Pakistan was a cheap market and the world was searching for opportunities and seeking new markets. He said Pakistan could explore investment opportunities offered by the whole world. 

He said products made by Pakistani skilled workers were in demand.
