KP CM Gandapur’s Karachi visit cancelled
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, who was due to visit Karachi today, has all of sudden cancelled his visit, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Gandapur had to pay his respects at Quaid’s mausoleum in the afternoon besides meeting the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) and PTI leaders as part of efforts to form an alliance of the opposition parties to kick out the government.
It is pertinent to mention here that PTI leaders along with Tehreek Tahafuz Ayin Pakistan leaders are already in Sindh to enlist the support of the GDA and other parties for the alliance.
Hearing of audio leaks case against KP CM deferred
Also on Tuesday, a court in Islamabad adjourned the hearing of the audio leaks case against Gandapur until March 6.
Additional Sessions Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar heard the case.
The KP chief minister did not appear in the court even today.
However, his lawyer Raja Zahoorul Hassan Advocate and co-suspect Asad Farooq showed up.
A case had been registered against Gandapur at Golra police station of the federal capital.
