Opposition parties not allowed to hold two-day conference in Islamabad
Opposition Parties Grand Alliance could not get approval of the local administration for holding two-day conference in Islamabad on February 27-28, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
All opposition parties were invited to attend the conference. The hosts of the conference were Mehmood Khan Achakzai and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi
A hall was booked in a private hotel in Islamabad for the conference, but the booking was not allowed there. In the conference, the future plan of action and the plan of giving tough time to the government were to be decided.
Earlier, consultative meeting of opposition alliance was held under the chair of Chairman of Tehreek-e-Takhufaz Ain Pakistan Mehmood Khan Achakzai.
Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Secretary General PTI Salman Akram Raja, Sunni Ittehad Council chief Sahibzada Hamid Raza and other leaders participated in the meeting. A details consultation was made on the current political situation and opposition alliance during the meeting.
