Pakistani student wins gold at STEMCO Science Global Competition in Singapore

Pakistani student Anara Bahram Durrani has brought global recognition to Pakistan by winning the gold medal at the STEMCO Science Global Competition, held at the prestigious National University of Singapore from February 12 to 17, 2025.

Out of 26,000 Pakistani students who initially participated in the competition, only 15 made it to the international finals.

These finalists competed against 177 participants from 13 countries, showcasing their scientific skills on a global platform. Anara’s exceptional performance not only secured her a gold medal at the national level but also earned her the top honor in the international stage, making Pakistan proud.

The STEMCO Science Global Competition serves as a significant platform for young minds to explore science, innovation, and problem-solving. The event brought together talented students from across the world, highlighting the growing impact of youth in scientific advancements.

Pakistani students have also demonstrated remarkable achievements in the International Kangaroo Science Competition, reinforcing the country’s emerging strength in STEM education.
