5.6 magnitude earthquake jolts GB, AJK, KP and Islamabad
Earthquake termers were felt in Khyber Paktunkhawa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan region of the country on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the quake struck at 4:12pm at a depth of 114 kilometres. It said the earthquake’s epicentre was Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region.
In Pakistan termers were felt in Gilgit, Baltistan, Swat, Peshawar, Chitral, Charsadda, Mohmad, Takht Bahi, Upper and lower Dir, Haripur, Mardan, Landi Kotal, Rawala Kot.
No loss of life and property was reported yet.
