PTI names 6 party leaders for meeting with jailed former PM Imran Khan

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday named six party leaders for a meeting with the jailed former prime minister Imran Khan that is scheduled to take place in Adiala Jail on February 26, according to party sources.

PTI Coordinator Salman Akram Raja has forwarded a list of six party leaders to jail authorities for approval to meet the party’s founder.

The names included in the list are Shahid Khattak, Meena Khan, Shafqat Awan, Shafi Jan, Sajjad Mohmand and Adnan Qadri.

Sources said that the PTI leaders named in the list had arrived at Adiala Jail a day earlier in anticipation of the scheduled meeting with the PTI founder.

Security arrangements around the jail have been tightened ahead of the meeting. Further developments are expected following the completion of the meeting.
