Kidnapped man are brothers serving in different govt offices
Three brothers, all government employees, were kidnapped by unidentified armed men during Isha prayers in the limits of the Cantonment Police Station in Bannu, police said on Wednesday.
According to reports, the three brothers had gone to offer Isha prayers in the Sokri Hassan Khel area when the incident occurred.
The abducted brothers were identified as Saeed Akhtar, an employee of the Commissioner’s Office, Amjad Khan, who serves in the police department, and Hazratullah, who is associated with the Commissioner Squad police.
Police officials said that around 10 to 12 terrorists arrived at the scene and abducted the three brothers before fleeing.
Following the incident, law enforcement agencies launched a search operation in the Sokri area. Checkpoints have also been established at all entry and exit routes to trace the kidnappers.
Authorities said that efforts are underway to locate the suspects and recover the abducted brothers safely.
