Lahore Airport’s flights operation suspended after dense fog

January 25, 2022 11:39 AM

Two flights were cancelled and a dozen others were facing long delays after dense clouds of fog engulfed Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport on Tuesday morning, suspending flights operation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The thick fog reduced the visibility to just 100 metres forcing the airport authorities to suspend the flights operation.

An AirBlue flight PA-413 was hovering over the airport after reduced permission to touch down.

Flight TK-714 coming from Istanbul to Lahore and flight TK-715 leaving Lahore for Istanbul were cancelled.
