TEPA sets 12 TORs to deal with smog, traffic problems in Lahore

In view of increasing smog and traffic problems in Lahore city, Traffic Engineering & Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) has formulated the Term of References (TORs) to make traffic management regulations.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, tepa has drafted the 12 tors and the guidelines for traffic management regulations in Lahore city.
As per the drafted regulations, any highway can be made one way to observe the traffic flow while special pedestrian areas and roads will also be paved.
Under the proposed regulations, a topographic survey of highways, structure plan, road construction will be prepared as well as a parking management policy will also be introduced.
TEPA Chief Engineer has sent the draft of the regulation policy to the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director-General for his approval.
Later the approved draft will be forwarded to the Governing Body for finalizing it.
