Assistant Minister of Defense, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Major General Talal Abdullah Al-Otaibi Wednesday called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ), the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release said.

The Saudi dignitary also called on the Chief of General Staff (CGS), Lieutenant General Muhammad Saeed at the General Headquarters (GHQ). According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), both dignitaries held a delegation-level meeting on bilateral defence collaboration.

Saudi Assistant Defense Minister along with a delegation also met Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif at the Ministry of Defense.

The federal minister expressed his good wishes and prayers for the health and prosperity of King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

Saudi Arabia's Assistant Defense Minister said that Saudi Arabia wants Pakistan's support in the field of defence production and defence-related cooperation.

The defence minister proposed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement to deepen defence ties between the two countries.

Defense Secretary Lieutenant General (retd) Hamud-uz-Zaman Khan was also present in the meeting.
