Int’l journal The Diplomate praises Pakistan’s diplomatic strategy 

Pakistan has once again established its role as an indispensable and reliable partner in the United States through skilful and wise diplomacy, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday. 
The international journal The Diplomat has praised Pakistan's successful diplomatic strategy and said that after the May 2025 Pak-India conflict, India rejected the US's offer of mediation, which created tension in New Delhi-Washington relations. Pakistan turned this crisis to its advantage and took relations to new heights. 
According to a report received from Washington, President Trump invited the Pakistani Army Chief to the White House. 
In addition to security issues, there was talk of cooperation in the trade, investment and energy sectors. 
Counter-terrorism cooperation between Pakistan and the United States was restored and a new direction was given to economic and trade relations. Agreements were reached for long-term investment by American companies in Pakistan and the development of oil and gas reserves. 
Pakistan also received US approval to upgrade its F-16 aircraft, which was estimated to be worth $680 million.
How Pakistan Conquered the US – While India Lost Trump

In February 2025, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi was warmly welcomed to the White House. He was the second foreign leader to be hosted by newly inaugurated President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s prime minister hadn’t even gotten a phone call. The Pakistan-U.S. relationship had been on ice since Trump’s first term, when he famously said Pakistan had given the U.S. “nothing but lies and deceit.”
Then, in 2025, the impossible happened. India, Washington’s “indispensable” partner, was hit with a brutal 50 percent tariff and snubbed for a presidential visit. And Pakistan is being celebrated at the White House as America’s new favorite ally.
It all started when New Delhi humiliated Trump by publicly rejecting his claim to have mediated an end to the May 2025 conflict with Pakistan. Since then, the India-U.S. relationship has entered a deep freeze. There’s been no Quad summit, no Trump visit to India, and no trade deal to give India respite from astronomical tariffs. High-level dialogue has totally collapsed.
But where India saw an insult to its sovereignty, Pakistan saw a massive opportunity. Islamabad amplified Trump’s claim to have mediated an end to the India-Pakistan conflict, even nominating Trump for a Nobel Prize. That bit of flattery paid off richly.
Pakistan’s government has become a go-to partner for Trump’s key diplomatic initiatives in the Middle East, from Gaza to Iran. It has resurrected counterterrorism cooperation – long the bedrock of Pakistan-U.S. ties – and even broke new ground, attracting U.S. interest in Pakistan’s treasure trove of critical minerals.
