Myanmar foreign minister arrives in Islamabad on four-day visit

The foreign minister of Myanmar, Than Swe, arrived in Islamabad on a four-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Myanmar, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to the spokesperson for the Foreign Office, the visiting minister was received at Islamabad International Airport by the Director General of the East Asia Pacific Division, along with officials from the Myanmar Embassy.

The spokesperson said the purpose of the visit is to further enhance bilateral cooperation and deepen diplomatic ties between the two countries.

During the visit, the Myanmar foreign minister is expected to hold meetings with senior Pakistani officials to discuss matters of mutual interest and explore avenues for expanding collaboration in various sectors.
