Fighting rooster in police lockup for eight months

A fighting rooster has been detained in a police station of Ghotki district of Sindh province for the past eight month.
According to police, they caught the bird and suspected gamblers during an operation eight months ago.
The police booked the wagers and registered the recovery of the fighter cock. The accused secured the release from court but the bird is still in police custody.
The lawmen said they have been looking after the rooster and took it to all the court hearings.
Cockfight, the popular game in the country’s rural areas, is a blood sport between two roosters.
