Appointment of headteachers in doldrums after interviews cancelled

The issue of appointment of merit-based head teachers across Punjab is in doldrums after interviews scheduled for today for candidates who passed the test have been canceled, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

As many as 3300 teachers had given the test for the posts of head teachers across Punjab.

About 200 teachers had given the test for the vacant posts of headmasters in Lahore.

The School Education Department Punjab has not yet been able to release the test results.

Most of the teachers failed due to damage to dozens of tabs given for the online test.

Candidates are worried as the test results have not been received yet.

The Education Department has remained silent regarding the cancellation of the interviews scheduled for today for candidates who passed the online test.
