Reacting to the PIA’s move that grounded all pilots with bogus licences in the light of Karachi plane crash inquiry report, the Pakistan Air Line Pilots' Association (PALPA) on Thursday denounced any illegal way for obtaining pilots licences.
PALPA in a tweet said, “We welcome any impartial and fair inquiry into this system to unearth those responsible. We further demand that the government takes all measures to eliminate such practices and take action against all contributors.”

Earlier on Wednesday Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) had accepted the Karachi plane crash probe, a spokesperson for the national flag carrier said.
"The government established a high-level probe body that did the job on modern lines. The PIA will take action under the guidelines. We have grounded all pilots with bogus licences,” the official said, adding that though the flight operation will affect but safety is the priority.
However, the PIA made it clear that fake pilots was not just an issue with the national airline. “People with bogus licences are also flying aircraft of other airlines too,” he added.
