The high-ups have taken notice of a report by a citizen against his kidnaping for ransom in a police van without number plate in the Sachal police limits, 24NewsHD reported on Thursday.

A citizen, Bilal approached Sachal police alleging he was picked up by persons in police uniform and official van without number plate and release after getting Rs225,000.

He claimed they threatened him to kill if he approaches police or inform any person. He continued they demanded Rs200,000 for his release but raised the ransom later.

Bilal said his maternal uncle was informed over phone and he paid another Rs25,000 to secure his release. Waking up to the issue, the police high-ups sought a report on the incident from Suhrab Goth DSP in 48 hours.
