5 FC soldiers martyred in Sibi ambush

Five FC soldiers were martyred when terrorists targeted a Frontier Corps patrolling party in Sangan area of District Sibi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to a statement released by the military’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday, the FC Balochistan patrolling party was ambushed when it was passing through Sangan.
During the exchange of fire between the FC soldiers and the terrorists, heavy losses were inflicted on the terrorists in men and materials.
As a result of the intense gunbattle, five brave soldiers of FC Balochistan also embraced Shahadat (martyred).

The Shuhada were identified as Havaldar Zafar Ali Khan resident of Lakki Marwat, Lance Naik Hidayatullah resident of Lakki Marwat, Lance Naik Nasir Abbas resident of Bhakkar, Lance Naik Basheer Ahmed resident of Naseerabad and Sepoy Noor Ullah resident of Lakki Marwat.
A sanitization/search operation was also in progress to block the escape routes of the terrorists and apprehend the perpetrators.
The ISPR statement said such cowardly acts by inimical elements, backed by hostile intelligence agencies cannot sabotage the hard-earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan.
Security forces are determined to neutralize their nefarious designs even at the cost of their blood and lives, the statement added.
The attack came two days after a car bomb killed three people in Lahore on Wednesday in an attack officials believe targeted police and security forces.
