Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said on Wednesday he could not think of subtracting former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan from the party, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Speaking to the media in the Supreme Court (SC), he said he was a PTI worker who was merely doing his job.

He was of the view that some people within the PTI were conspiring against the party founder.

Gandapur opined that those who were engaged in defaming him on social media were paid for their job.

The chief minister claimed that the provincial budget was the best since it had met all the demands made by the IMF. “However, changes can be made to it at a later stage,” he added.

He lamented that first of all, the PTI was robbed of the mandate people had given to it in the February 8, 2024 general elections. “And then the 26th constitutional amendment stifled the judiciary, which left no room for relief to the party.”

Gandapur went on to say that he had been trying to meet Imran Khan for the last several days. “Today, I informed SC judge Justice Mansoor Ali Shah about the PTI founder’s letter.”
