Reham Khan takes swipe at Sarah Khan over anti-feminist remarks
Reham Khan has taken a swipe at actress Sarah Khan following her recent controversial comments dismissing feminism and supporting traditional gender roles.
In a statement, Sarah Khan stressed she opted for her husband, singer Falak Shabir, to handle all financial responsibilities.
"I can’t even stand in lines to pay bills," Sara said,
The actress defended male dominance and described herself as ‘old school’– a statement that drew ire among champions of women’s rights.
While Sarah and Falak are often praised for their picture-perfect relationship, lavish gifts, and romantic getaways, her latest comments have struck a nerve, particularly among women’s rights activists and advocates for gender equality.
Reham Khan weighed in on the controversy, subtly swiping at Sarah, saying: "There’s an actress I know only because her husband keeps gifting her things."
She added, "That actress has forgotten she’s able to work freely today because of the women’s rights movement.
“Even if you don’t believe in feminism, there’s no reason to say something regressive. People in positions of privilege should speak up for those who are not."
