China’s help for Pakistan lands at Karachi airport

The consignment of relief material donated by China to Pakistan for fighting coronavirus pandemic landed at Karachi International Airport on Wednesday.
The planeload of medical material included five million face masks (N95 masks included) and 50,000 testing kits.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was himself present at the airport to receive the medical supplies.
Earlier in the day, Chinese Embassy in Pakistan said that an epidemic COVID-19 relief material donated to Pakistan from Alibaba Foundation and Jack Ma Foundation has been loaded onto a cargo plane in China and it was on its way to Pakistan.
In a tweet posted on its official twitter handle, the embassy said, “COVID_19 Epidemic Relief Materials donated to Pakistan from Alibaba Foundation and Jack Ma Foundation has been loaded in a cargo plane in China. The first batch of N95 and surgical masks will arrive at Karachi today.” #ChinaPakSolidarity
