PM to seek overseas Pakistanis’ help to combat coronavirus

Special Assistant to PM on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Wednesday said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan is prepared to combat the coronavirus, for which “He has decided to seek the help of the overseas Pakistanis in this regard.”

Firdous said that the federal government’s announcement of a special package worth billions of rupees reflects the people-friendliness of the PTI-led government.

Firdous said that the government told the federal cabinet about its decision, and the cabinet “approved” of the PM’s decision, and “The announcement of yesterday’s special package was a part of the PM’s plan to combat the deadly virus.”
