A government officer was killed over a car parking issue in the Jahanian tehsil near Multan district of Punjab, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.

Two persons stabbed to death a government official, Nusrat Tufail Gul.

Lawmen reached the spot and shifted the body to a hospital.

The Thatta Sadiqabad police arrested the accused and started an investigation.

The accused were identified as Farrukh and Mohsin Shah.

The local people reportedly moved an application against the occupation of the Durbar site.
