SHO accused of murder flee from custody

An SHO accused of murder fled from custody in Gujranwala, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.

SHO Safdar Atta was brought to a court when he managed to escape and the acting SHO sustained injuries while he attempted to recapture the accused.

He fled with the connivance of his friend who chauffeured him from the court 

He was accused of killing a youth named Abid and the chief police officer suspended him.

The injured officer was shifted to a hospital.
