Govt seals 140 Chiniot schools for not registering, upgrading e-licenses 

The Chiniot District Education Authority has sealed 140 private schools for not registering and upgrading their e-licenses, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to authorities, notices were also issued to such private schools on March 10.
Consideration is also being given to fining private schools that are being sealed.
Some schools were running without registration, while some were running without licences and some were running without renewal.
On the other hand, the private school owners' association said private schools should be given more time to complete the process.
