Petrol pump owners express concerns over petrol price

The All Pakistan Petrol Pump Owners Association (APPOA) expressed serious concerns over the fixation of petrol prices and demanded the government consult petrol pump owners in this regard, reported 24News HD News Channel on Wednesday.

The petrol pump owners threatened to shut all petrol pumps in case their demands were not fully met. 

The petrol pumps' association demanded that the government take them into confidence before fixing the petrol price.

The association said that 15,000 petrol pump owners expressed their serious concerns on this issue.

They said that due to the current situation, they don’t want to create any untoward situation for the government.

The association said that in case their demands were not met, then the petroleum minister would be fully responsible for the situation.
