Riyadh-bound AirSial flight makes emergency landing at Karachi airport

A Riyadh-bound AirSial flight PF-768 made an emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), Karachi, due to a technical fault, reported 24News HD Channel on Wednesday.

Sources said that as the flight took off and started its journey on the Arabian Sea, the pilot detected a technical fault.

The pilot immediately contacted the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) and sought permission for an emergency landing.

After getting permission, the flight landed safely at Jinnah International Airport Karachi. About 160 passengers were on board the aircraft.

The passengers were shifted to the transit lounge of the airport. Air Sial sources said that arrangements are underway to shift the stranded passengers on another flight en route to Riyadh.
