PAT leader  reminds Imran Khan of promise he made six years ago

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur on Monday reminded Prime Minister Imran Khan that it has been six years now when Premier Imran made a promise to provide justice to victims of Model Town massacre.

In a tweet, Gandapur said “Imran Khan in Minhajul Qur'aan Secretariat promising that, if elected, he would ensure that the VICTIMS of the Model Town MASSACRE would get JUSTICE. Just a reminder on this Eidul Fitr. It’s now been almost 6 years since you made this promise. You are PM now.”

It is pertinent to note that Model Town tragedy occurred when a deadly clash between the Punjab Police and Pakistan Awami Tehreek activists took place where 14 protesters were killed and over 100 suffered bullet injuries.

The Punjab police anti-encroachment operation was launched to remove the barriers from the road leading to the offices of Minhajul Quran and the residence of PAT founder Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in Model Town, Lahore.
