Hamas blows up Israeli soldiers' occupied house in Gaza; several dead
In a bold and highly complex operation, Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades launched a deadly attack on Israeli forces in Gaza, blowing up a house in Khan Younis filled with Israeli soldiers.
The house was reportedly laden with multiple explosive devices, detonated as part of a planned ambush, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.
According to international news agencies, the targeted house became the site of intense combat as Hamas operatives detonated powerful charges, causing a massive explosion that killed and wounded several Israeli troops inside.
The assault was part of a calculated strike by the Al-Qassam Brigades aimed at inflicting maximum damage on the occupying forces.
In a strategic move, Hamas fighters also destroyed a tunnel leading to the house, where fierce clashes had taken place earlier with Israeli soldiers.
The tunnel was believed to be a key supply or access route for the forces stationed inside the building.
