During yesterday’s meeting between former president Asif Ali Zardari and JUI-F chief Maulana in Karachi, the PPP suggested to revise the current strategy of PDM (Pakistan Democratic Movement), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Citing sources, the report shares the inside story of the meeting as both sides agreed upon devising a new approach in light of the behind-the-scene political scenario and the future prospects.
As the two bigwigs discussed the situation and the effects of the past decision in detail, Fazl – who is also the PDM head – highlighted the problems faced on political front.
The PPP leadership was of the opinion that the opposition would have to work more on other fronts rather than solely focusing on rallies.

Meanwhile, Fazl and Zardari also exchanged their views on the lack of trust among the component parties of the PDM.
On Tuesday, the JUI-F had visited the former president in Karachi where he also inquired about his health and greeted him on the engagement of Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari.
The sources had earlier said that the PPP’s suggestion about in-house change in Punjab and Balochistan as well as the issue of organising long march towards Islamabad and tendering resignations from assemblies after the December 11 rally in Lahore would also be discussed.
With the PDM not ready to reverse the plan of holding public meetings, police in Multan on Tuesday registered a case against PML-N and PPP leaders and workers for their alleged attempt to enter the Qasim Bagh Stadium in connection with the planned opposition rally.
