Ban on carrying weapons in Islamabad extended for another two months

The ban on carrying weapons within the limits of Islamabad has been extended for another two months, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
Political rallies will be allowed to use the designated route only.
Legal action including arrests will be taken against violators.
Traffic routes will be kept open in Islamabad. A few places will be checked for the threat of terrorism.
Faizabad and 9th Avenue will remain closed for entry into Rawalpindi from Islamabad. Alternative routes will be provided for traffic. All ceremonies and normal activities in Islamabad remain unaffected and will continue.
