Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on Monday said that the party would hold countrywide protest demonstrations against price hike on Friday (October 29), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing the meeting of party workers and office-bearers at Gharibabad in Karachi, he said whichever thing Prime Minister Imran Khan laid his hands on, instead of improving it, he destroyed it. “People are passing through hard times due to massive inflation,” he said, and accused PM Imran of snatching those liberties from the people which were guaranteed to them by the constitution.

Bilawal said PPP leaders and workers would protest outside press clubs in each and every district of the country on Friday.

Calling the recently passed budget ‘PTI-IMF budget’, PPP chairman said that the party had always raised its voice against it from the word ‘Go’. “The purpose of our doing politics is not to come to power but to serve the masses,” he claimed.

He, on the occasion, also listened to complaints of the people of his constituency and later ordered the concerned departments to solve these problems.

PPP Sindh President Nisar Khuhro and member of party’s Central Executive Committee Jameel Soomro also accompanied Bilawal on the occasion.
