Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government Monday demolished a building of the cousin of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb in Rawalpindi.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the building of Awais Ikram (cousin of Maryam Aurangzeb) was partially demolished on the orders of Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi.

The Rawalpindi administration said that the PML-N spokesperson’s cousin was busy constructing the building without passing the map.

The administration said that the owner of the building, Awais Ikram was constructing a three-story building illegally.

The administration said that the staff had demolished roofs and some pillars along with the front of the building.

On the other hand, the PML-N Spokesperson Maryam on a contract confirmed that Awais Ikram was her first cousin and a property dealer by profession.

She said that she had no knowledge about the reasons for demolishing her cousin’s building but she would say anything after talking to him.
