Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said women should be empowered for the socio-economic development of society, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

While addressing the Saudi Future Investment Initiative Summit in Riyadh on Tuesday, Prime Minister said the quality of life can be improved through modern technology. 

“We have to take steps to improve the standard of living of the common man,” he added. 

Lauding the Saudi leadership's vision for the future, Shehbaz Sharif said, “We have to work together for a better future”.  

He apprised the participants about the flooding and said  Balochistan and Sindh areas were severely affected by the flood.
