A Research Analyst at the Institute of Regional Studies Zunaira Inam Tuesday took to her Twitter for defending Feroze Khan’s co-star Ushna Shah as the public demanded that she shares her views on him.

A recent controversy is circulating the media as evidence against Feroze Khan being violent towards his wife surfaced after the divorce of the couple.

Ushna Shah is starring as the lead role in a TV drama at ARY Digital namely “HABS” with Feroze Khan and the infuriated public wants her to say something condemning his behavior.

The Pashtun Research activist, in her tweet said that “Why were there so many tweets asking Ushna to be immediately vocal over her co-star's actions. Where's the same energy for the tons of male co-stars, directors and producers who have worked with him? Why must the burden of condemnation also only rest with women? Sab kuch hum hi karein?”

She conveyed that Feroze’s male co-stars, the directors and producers of his projects should also be questioned about his actions as they are also working with him.

In another tweet, Zunaira pointed at the Maulanas and clerics and said that why don’t they cry on national Television when men violently assault, beat and murder their wedded partners as they are clearly bigger sins then women wearing jeans.

The Habs star Ushna Shah finally broke the silence on Tuesday and took to her twitter to condemn the actions of his co-star.

She said that she is in shock and trying to process what his co-star has been doing. She said that nothing can and will ever justify violence against women and her heart is with the children Sultan and Fatima and the mother Alizah.
