Imran wants to get Shehbaz arrested due to APC: Marriyum
PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Friday claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan wanted to get Shehbaz Sharif arrested for paralysing the decisions taken at the APC as well as the Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly and local government elections.
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, Marriyum, addressing the government at a press conference in Islamabad, said, “You won’t succeed no matter what tactics you use.” Shehbaz would implement the APC’s decisions, she added.
There was not a single line, said the PML-N spokesperson, in Volume-58 which levelled the allegation of money laundering or corruption against Shehbaz. Even the witnesses’ statement did not contain the name of Shehbaz, Marriyum told reporters.
Shehbaz was the PML-N president and took every decision after taking Nawaz Sharif, the party supremo into confidence, the spokesperson said.
Announcing the decision that the PML-N would not support the PTI government in and outside the Parliament, she said the National Assembly speaker did not have the authority to convene a meeting of parliamentary leaders.
