Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech at United Nations General Assembly was a failed attempt to market India’s COVID-19 vaccine, reported 24News HD TV channel on Saturday.
While reacting to Modi’s speech at the UN, Sheikh Rashid said that it seemed that the leader of a union council was addressing the UN. He said that the speech was substandard at a major forum of the world, adding that it was a failed attempt to market India's COVID-19 vaccine.
The minister said that Modi saw the pain of minorities in Afghanistan but did not see the atrocities against the minorities in India. Sheikh Rashid added that he had never heard such a substandard, outdated and incoherent speech at a UN forum during his political life
