Special Assistant to Prime Minister Attaullah Tarar Sunday said Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif fought the case of Pakistan in front of the United Nations in a befitting manner, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

Addressing a press conference, he said Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is returning home after a successful visit while the issue of leaked audio is a conspiracy to divert attention from it.

PM Shahbaz Sharif highlighted the extra-constitutional killing of Kashmiris in the best way during his speech to the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, he said adding that the United Nations was also informed about the ravaging flood in the country.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Tarar said the PM requested for debt write-off in the meeting while the heads of countries have promised to help Pakistan's flood victims. Instead of pretending like Imran Khan, the real issues were put forward in the UN meeting, he added.

Tarar also informed that Ishaq Dar will return and take over the portfolio of the finance ministry.

Lauding the services of Miftah Ismail, he said the finance minister had saved the country from bankruptcy with his best policies.  He thanked China, Turkey, and other friendly countries as they promised to help Pakistan.
