Pakistani couple scales 8,163-meter high Mount Manaslu

Good news for Pakistan from the world of sports as Lahore’s Ahmad Aziz and his wife Anam Aziz have scaled Mount Manaslu in Nepal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

By accomplishing the feat, Ahmad, who is a lawyer by profession, and Anam, who is a forensic scientist, have become the first Pakistani couple to have climbed a mountain over 8,000 meters high.

Young mountaineer Shehroze Kashif had brought both husband and wife to Nepal.

8,163 meters high Mount Manaslu is the world’s eighth-highest peak.
