Australia announces 3.8 million aid for Pakistan

Australia's High Commissioner to Pakistan Dr Geoffrey Shaw on Sunday said that Australia has confirmed support of $3.8 million to help Pakistan get the medical equipment it needs to save lives battling COVID-19.

He congratulated Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and federal and provincial governments on the launch of ‘Preparedness & Response Plan for COVID19’.
Earlier on April 23, World Health Organization Director General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus virtually launched the National COVID-19 Strategic Preparedness & Response Plan in Pakistan.
