The Pakistan Hockey Federal (PHF) has decided to defer all the national and international events till August in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a PHF statement issued on Sunday, the tours of Pakistan junior hockey team and national hockey team which were scheduled for May-June and July respectively have been postponed.

Moreover Junior Asia Cup has already been postponed while Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in October is also in jeopardy.

It has also been decided not to hold any national hockey event till August.

It is pertinent to mention that PHF financial losses are expected to multiply with the delay of international hockey events.
